Dear friends!
My first journal entry unfortunatly brings rather bad news. I just returned from Sri Lanka and I am sorry to tell you that there will not be any fotos from there - actually there wont be any more fotos for a long time. My camera has been stolen and you know where? - on a pilgrimage path! Now I am not only unable to take pics anymore but I also lost a huge amount of fotos from the time before (beaches and hillcountry of sri lanka, buddhist temples and kerala mountains). Of course the loss made me very angry but I try to see the positive side also: Now that I do not see the world through the lense of a camera anymore I can maybe see a more personal India. Possibly that makes the experience more intense and closer to reality.
